POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Enterprise Architect to join our Digital Technology team. The Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in defining, maintaining, and driving a holistic view of the organization’s technology landscape. This individual will ensure our software systems, applications, and integrations align with business needs and foster growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The Principal Enterprise Architect will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to establish architectural standards, promote best practices and ensure that solutions are well-designed, scalable, and secure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of the organization's software systems and applications, including key integrations, to identify optimization opportunities and maximize the value of the application portfolio.
  • Document and maintain enterprise architectural diagrams to continually identify opportunities to optimize and derive value from the application portfolio.
  • Develop and own architectural standards and effective review processes designed to meet business outcomes and drive value from technology investments.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to architects and project teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to create specifications for technology evaluations and assess potential new solutions for business value and feasibility.
  • Understand business outcomes to identify architectural approaches that support value creation. Foster holistic architectural thinking across stakeholders.
  • Interface with all levels of the organization to identify business opportunities, support strategic projects, and guide long-term technology changes.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration across the organization to ensure that technology solutions meet business needs and drive growth.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred experience in casino / hospitality industries.
  • Proven experience in leading architecture teams and projects in a large, complex organization.
  • Proficiency with enterprise architecture management tools such as LeanIX.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and tools.
  • Deep understanding of Software Engineering best practices, with a focus on scalable and sustainable solutions. Experience with working and coaching Agile ways of working.
  • Experience with both infrastructure and application architecture.
  • Experience assessing emerging technology, leading experiments, and documenting a point of view to guide IT and the business on profitable adoption.
  • Experience in communicating and presenting to users/stakeholders at various levels within an organization and globally.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining architectural review processes and effective governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and strategic solutions.
  • Experience in defining and analyzing business requirements, technology architecture design, and/or systems integration.
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for supervising both hourly and salaried Members, as well as third-party contractors and vendors.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
