Physician Affiliate Group of New Yor k (PAGNY ) is adding a Director of PET/CT for the Nuclear Medicine department at Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital . The Hospitals are part of theNYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details

Currently looking to hire a Director/PET/CT for Nuclear Medicine. We are a city hospital within a network in NYC. Medium size Radiology Department, but Nuclear Medicine functions mostly independent

  • Daily clinical duties including diagnostic, general, and cardiac imaging and radiopeptide therapies
  • Teaching of radiology residents
  • Participate in modifying old and writing new protocols
  • Outpatient clinic to counsel upcoming therapy patients and families on radiation safety
  • Launch new imaging and therapeutic modalities
  • No calls after hours or on weekends
Qualifications
  • ABNM certification
  • Nuclear Cardiology certification is desired
  • NYS Medical License
