Intellectual Property (IP)/Life Sciences Associate Attorney

Job Description

The position is open to candidates across the country, and preference for office location can be specified during the application process.

Qualifications
  • Should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in life sciences, including evaluating patent portfolios, conducting due diligence investigations, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and managing patent portfolios.
  • Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, with a strong background in scientific fields relevant to biotechnology.
  • Bar admission in the state of residence is a requirement, and an advanced degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or Immunology is desired.
  • Prior experience in a law firm setting is mandatory.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills are essential, with preference for candidates with leadership abilities and comfort in direct client interactions.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary range: $200,000 to $325,000 annually.
  • Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors.
