Salesforce is hiring a Manager to join our Global Communications team to support corporate communications functions, including executive communications, issues management, strategic planning and proactive storytelling. We’re looking for a PR pro with strong project management skills, writing skills, deep critical thinking and executive presence. Working with top executives or public figures and/or issues management experience preferred.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Identify proactive media, social media, and speaking opportunities
  2. Research, develop, and edit content, including messaging, briefing docs, speeches, press releases, blog posts, social media posts, and more
  3. Lead coverage reporting, measurement, and analytics to showcase team results for key stakeholders
  4. Provide support on a variety of executive programs - including media and speaking/event prep
  5. Drive thought leadership on key narratives
  6. Support the management of and response to issues
  7. Manage external agency team resources

Requirements:

  1. 6+ years of experience in communications, ideally public relations - agency, in-house, or both
  2. Excellent research, communication, writing, organizational and project management skills
  3. Skilled at managing up and prioritizing; self-starter who is comfortable managing their work autonomously
  4. Strong media relations and social media skills
  5. Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is able to multi-task, re-prioritize projects and communicate priorities to business partners
  6. Positive, flexible attitude, sense of humor and living in the moment are second nature
  7. No ego - we are a small, dynamic team and everyone pitches in to get the job done

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $132,800 to $182,600.
