Position Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Post Acute Care:

  1. Provides medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.
  2. The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.
  3. Work frequently requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information.
  4. Contact with external contacts involves providing or getting factual information.
  5. Requires normal courtesy and tact in dealing with others.
Education: Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.
  1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  2. Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
  3. Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred.
  4. Current CPR certification.
Work Experience
  1. Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship.
  2. Experience in a Post-Acute rehab setting required.

Salary Range: Minimum 51.00 per visit - Maximum 51.00 per visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
