Avera St. Luke's Hospital is looking for a CT Technologist to join our Team

Position Highlights:
Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary

* Performs CT examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy of Avera St. Luke's, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.

* CT Swing Shift position will assist in performing radiology duties as required.

* Assist in clinical training of staff technologists and radiology clinical students.

* Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.

* Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.


Education and/or Experience

* Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, or equivalent specialty. (Nuclear Medicine Technology)

* A minimum of two years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.


Licensure/Certification/Registration

* Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist. (ARRT, CNMT)

* Must be working towards advanced certification in CT/MRI.


Work Schedule

* Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

* 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

* Shift Differential

* Every 4-5th weekend

* Every 4 th holiday

* Call time once a week and every 4-5 th weekend

* Team Environment


Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.

* $26.25 - $39.50 per hour
