Job Description

Under the direction of the Guest Service Manager, the Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the work that is carried out within the Guest Services Department. Coordinates Guest Services at the conference center so that staff members and guests experience a positive impression of the facility.

COMPENSATION: The hourly compensation range for this position is $21.47 to $24.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Supervises Guest Services Support Staff in providing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week coverage.
  2. Coordinates registration functions and transportation for all guests.
  3. Trains Front Desk/Concierge personnel by utilizing training programs established in conjunction with Aramark, and conference center clients.
  4. Oversees front desk and concierge's tasks to ensure world class service is provided in the following areas:
    1. Check in and check out functions
    2. Ensures proper execution of Lobby Ambassador Program.
    3. Guest orientation of the local area and the conference center facilities
    4. Proper telephone service technique and PBX operation
    5. Handling of guest mail, messages and special deliveries
    6. Coordinating reservations for guest transportation
    7. Full understanding and utilization of the property management system
    8. Familiarization with night audit function
    9. Assisting all guests in any way possible including following up on guest concerns in a timely manner.
    10. Maintaining a limited supply of sundries and restocks as necessary.
    11. Issuing and monitoring safe deposit boxes
    12. Opening and closing of support staff cashier banks.
    13. Design and implement training programs to ensure that all staff are well-versed in daily job functions, safety awareness, and Aramark policies and procedures.
    14. Responsible for ordering, storing and inventory of all supplies necessary to perform daily operations.
    15. Communicate closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
    16. Establish, implement, and follow all emergency procedures.
    17. Perform any or all other duties as assigned by Guest Services Manager.

Qualifications
  1. Requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing world-class service to the client, guests, and co-workers.
  2. A strong knowledge of personal computers is essential.
  3. Experience in all facets of providing guest services.
  4. Must be able to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with others.
  5. Strong organizational abilities.
  6. Preferably two years in hospitality services or like environment performing like duties as Guest Services or Concierge’s supervisor.
  7. Must be able to read, write, and clearly speak English.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
