Our client is a dynamic and fast-paced company seeking a reliable, professional, and highly motivated individual to join their team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing their financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of the financial records. Salary: $70K to $80K - Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting Transactions: Accurately enter and manage all accounting transactions in compliance with established standards.
  2. Accounts Payable Management: Handle high-volume accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor communications.
  3. Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  4. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  5. Law Firm Accounting (Preferred): Apply knowledge of law firm accounting practices, including managing client trust accounts and adhering to industry-specific regulations.
  6. Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks for all bookkeeping activities and Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
  7. Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance as needed, including organizing financial documents and supporting audits.
  8. Inventory Management: Order and maintain office supplies to support daily operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
  2. Software Skills: At least 5 years of experience with QuickBooks and managing high-volume accounts payable.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Experience in law firm accounting is a plus.
  4. Attention to Detail: Demonstrated accuracy in entering accounting transactions and data management.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word.
  6. Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and prioritize work.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility and reliability with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
