As the VP, Global Strategic Client Partnerships, you will be at the forefront of Mintel’s growth strategy, serving as an integral part of the Commercial growth leadership team. This role demands an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, solution selling, and exceeding business expectations.

Change management is a critical aspect of this role. You must be a natural problem solver, a coach, a connector, and a relationship builder. You will lead both strategic initiatives and create tactical plans, bringing together people across all areas of the global organization to create a seamless client experience.

This is a global role, managing 2-3 leaders with a team of 12+ indirect reports, as well as 6 direct reports, responsible for managing the relationship and client experience for a portfolio of high-growth, high-value global accounts.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Experience navigating teams successfully through change management
  • Seasoned commercial leader and coach
  • A demonstrable innovator

What We Are Looking For:

  • A Proven Business Growth Leader: 7+ years experience in building and leading high-performing teams and developing talent. Experience in a global organization is preferred.
  • Proven ability to exceed revenue targets and KPIs, with a deep understanding of balancing short-term sales goals and long-term client success.
  • Strong experience in recruiting, coaching, and developing talent across multiple regions.
  • A growth mindset, visualizing a better future state and leading others on that journey.
  • Hands-on approach to sales with a willingness to get into the details.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and pitch consulting solutions effectively.

A Data-Driven Problem-Solver: You take a metric-driven approach to decision-making and proactively address challenges with well-thought-out solutions.

A Client Advocate: Actively attend sales meetings, network with clients, and navigate client conversations to understand their challenges and goals.

A Coach: Develop and boost the team’s confidence around necessary sales skills and coach on emerging techniques.

Short and Long-Term Focus: Create a strategic plan that outlines clear, actionable steps for achieving both short-term and long-term goals.

A Strategic Communicator: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and build trust with your team.

A Role Model: Thrive in ambiguity, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leading a Team: Manage a high-performing global team, setting clear goals and fostering a client-centric culture.
  • Revenue Generation and Business Growth: Drive growth of the Consulting business through direct management of high-growth accounts and commercial revenue targets.
  • Adding Value: Build long-term strategic partnerships with clients, uncovering new business opportunities.
  • Fostering an External Perspective: Stay informed about industry trends and client dynamics to ensure Mintel’s long-term relevancy.
