ASIC Verification Engineer

Responsibilities:

  1. Reviewing the product designs and noting likely points of failure.
  2. Designing verification methodology based on product designs and failure points.
  3. Determining testing environments and verification tools.
  4. Planning the method of sequence for testing operations.
  5. Instituting and tweaking testing mechanisms and protocols.
  6. Writing up final test procedures and training QC staff.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Science
  2. 4 years of Design Verification experience
  3. Very good understanding of Design Verification goals and challenges
  4. Very good knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM
  5. Processors architecture with understanding of execution pipelines
  6. GPUs or vector processing engines architecture
  7. Cache hierarchy and MMU architecture
  8. Cache coherency protocols
  9. Standard protocols like PCIe and DDR4/5
  10. Verification environments architecture and implementation
  11. Verification tools architecture and implementation
  12. Regression infrastructure architecture and implementation
  13. Verification process and test plan development
  14. Assertion-based verification using SVA/OVA
  15. Functional coverage methodology and implementation
  16. Formal equivalence checking tools like Jasper
  17. Theorem provers like ACL2

Should have demonstrated experience with several of the following:

  1. Debugging complex test scenarios
  2. Working on FPGA emulated platforms
  3. Working in a Linux environment
  4. Using git version control system
  5. Using a scripting language (Perl or Python)
  6. Using C programming language
  7. Using C++ programming language
  8. Using TCL and Expect

Compensation Range:

The base salary range is $130,000 to $280,000. Your salary will be determined based on your experience and specific skillset. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Estimated Min Rate: $70.00

Estimated Max Rate: $85.00
