Capture Manager

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Capture Manager. This position will be a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Develops key business relationships in the government marketplace, with a primary responsibility for identifying and developing opportunities for business expansion.
- Supports the development of customer or market penetration strategies and individual opportunity win strategies, account plans, technology development plans, and partnering strategies.
- May lead capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business.
- Develops and maintains sales pipeline in commercial and federal markets to support commercial sales and other cyber related products and services.
- Acts as liaison with government agencies and offices.
- Ensures that the business development strategy is implemented and makes recommendations for change or modification to strategy.
- Leads teams to develop and deliver various professional services solutions, including whitepapers, demonstrations, proposals, and other internally developed products used to identify, qualify and capture new business.
- Assists in developing and facilitating the sales process for specific clients, including budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client presentations.
- Builds key customer relationships to maintain a good position in the market.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of current developments in the government marketplace to assess the position of the Company and determine how to improve it.
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, management, accounting, contracts, pricing, and technical groups.
- Manages the implementation and execution of commercial products and services specific to executed sales (this includes product or service development).
- Participates in professional/trade association activities and customer events.
- Interfaces directly with clients on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction with solutions, develop stronger ongoing relationships, build new and broader relationships, and identify additional opportunities for Company solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 15+ years (or commensurate experience).
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated analytical, reasoning, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated skills in communicating technical information to non-technical and technical customers as well as how core technologies translate into customers' critical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with executive and senior leadership.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Secret Clearance is preferred.
