This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities to include enforcing the company's policies, procedures and programs, administering the benefits administration programs, maintaining personnel files and other personnel related records and handling administrative duties to include purchasing office equipment and supplies. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

Responsibilities

  • HR Policy & Procedures: Enforce and educate employees on the company policies and procedures. Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Hiring: Assist in Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Onboarding: Ensure application and background search is completed. Explain and collect all new hire and tax related forms. Orient employee to the organization. Prepare new employee file(s) and badge. Set up and train employee on timekeeping system.
  • Compensation and benefits: Administering pay, benefits, and leave, including health insurance, workers compensation, and 401K plan.
  • Training and development: Identifying training needs, coordinating workshops, and supporting professional development.
  • Payroll Administration: Collect and review timesheets, work schedules, and other payroll related information. Provide support to Payroll team and answer questions from employees.
  • Administration: Responsible for the day-to-day administration activities to include purchase of company office equipment, furniture and office supplies, office moves, and company event planning.
  • Benefit Administration: Assist in annual open enrollment. Ensure employee enrollment, additions and deletions, on a timely basis. Respond to inquiries related to company benefits and provide guidance on use.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
