We are excited to announce an opening for a Director of Patient Services at our state-of-the-art healthcare facility. This pivotal leadership role aims to enhance the quality of care, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will champion initiatives to strengthen patient-centered service delivery, ensure adherence to healthcare standards, and lead a dedicated team towards excellence in healthcare services.
Salary: DOE per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the patient services department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient satisfaction and streamline healthcare delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies, including the Department of Health and Joint Commission.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient care issues and enhance service quality.
- Monitor and evaluate patient satisfaction metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support the patient services team in their professional development and daily responsibilities.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related healthcare field.
- Active RN license in New York State.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare leadership, particularly in patient care services or nursing management.
- Proven proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and patient management software.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, with a strong focus on patient and family engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and manage healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
- Experience in managing large-scale healthcare operations and leading diverse teams.
