Atrium Health Seeking General Surgery Physician- Cornelius, NC

The Department of Surgery at Atrium Health, is seeking a General Surgeon for Atrium Health General Surgery Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC. This new practice currently will consist of two full time surgeons, two APPs and a full office staff. Surgeons will partner with two existing Atrium Health Acute Care Surgery teams in the area. We are looking for someone with a team mindset, and who wants to make an impact in a growing suburban community of Charlotte.
Details about the opportunity include:
* General surgery experience preferred
* We service the Lake Norman community including Cornelius, Huntersville, Davidson and Mooresville with two practice locations - one At AH University City and one at AH Lake Norman
* Position would be primarily based at AH Lake Norman
* Looking for proactive surgeon who is ready to engage with referring physicians
* Shared call 1:4
* Lake Norman practice and Hospital opening 2025
* Bread and butter general surgery and endoscopy
