Sales Coordinator (JLB division)

 

The JLB Sales team provides a high-level partnership to drive our vendor partners sales at Target. Our approach to Account Management is to provide our vendor partners with elevated analytics and actionable recommendations that lead to growth.

 

The Role:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our organization as part of our Sales team. Someone who is passionate about sales, product and retail. In this role you will execute the merchandise and logistical needs of the Sales team and vendor partners to help manage and profitably grow our business.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Be an advocate on behalf of assigned vendors to help them solve problems, understand the needs of Target, and be successful in their business
  • Execute Business Reporting including Weekly Sales & POS Reporting and Ad-Hoc Reports
  • Be a master of item setup, master item listings and the item maintenance process of your vendors including conducting on-going item accuracy audits and maintenance both for Target and Target.com
  • Relationship building externally with vendors and Target’s MS and IDS teams and learning to translate needs into action
  • Assist total Sales Team in executing operational management of business item management, sample management, shipment tracking, meeting preparation (including line reviews and “top-to-tops”)
  • Demonstrate an ability to collaborate internally across all functions of jlb
