Position Summary
We’re looking for a Director/Senior Director of Sales (VP Potential) who is ready to dive in and make a significant impact. This role offers the opportunity for elevation to Vice President of Sales for the right candidate based on their experience and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth across all retail channels, with a focus on key accounts like Amazon, Walmart, and other major US retailers.
  2. Retail Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and rep groups, understanding their unique distribution strategies and individual needs.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to coordinate product launches, promotions, and sales initiatives.
  4. Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and drive product expansion into new categories and regions.
  5. Sales Performance & Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs, analyze sales performance, and report regularly to senior leadership on sales performance and key metrics.
  6. Hands-On Leadership: Be ready to dive in and get involved with all aspects of the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related field.
  • Experience:
    • 7-10 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in consumer goods (experience in the toy industry is key).
    • Experience managing key accounts like Amazon, Walmart, and other major retailers.
    • Proven track record of being hands-on, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and relationship management.
    • Resourceful with an entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Proficient in sales forecasting and data analysis.
    • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
    • Detail-oriented and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
