Overview

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Programming, Engineering (any), or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Utilizing technologies in the enterprise systems including Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Kafka and Cloud/Microservices; Conducting Full stack development of a near real-time analytics platform by pulling data from multiple financial systems data sources of Kafka, Splunk, Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres and Web Service; Performing Data analysis and visualizations using Tableau for operational and business requirements and collecting data from interfaces, including Oracle, Kafka, Kudu, and File Systems; Using AppDynamics on Linux platform to identify performance issues and isolate root causes of multi-threaded distributed financial systems; Reviewing the configurations settings of the database systems of financial systems and applications using Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, Postgres and NoSQL; Supporting and maintaining existing functionalities and on-boarding new functionalities for performance monitoring applications; Integrating core and advanced concepts in data analytics and machine learning techniques within the financial services systems during the audit process using machine learning tools; Building, deploying, and maintaining critical applications on private cloud infrastructure Virtual Machine using Docker and Gitlab; and Utilizing CAST products to scan applications source code and fix critical and non-critical violations. BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $131,331.00- $143,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
