About the Position
Provide patient care based upon the nursing process, being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Oversee and guide employees under his/her supervision. Actively support and promote the Company Mission.
What do we look for?
* Self-motivated, patient focused individual with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with patients, physicians and staff
* Ability to work under pressure and cross train in all subspecialty areas
* Flexibility - days and hours will vary, typically 4-10 hour shifts Monday through Friday (based on the doctors' schedule). Schedules are made in advance. NO ON-CALL NO HOLIDAYS NO WEEKENDS
Skills & Qualifications:
* Florida licensed and BLS certification required
* OR Circulator and Pre/Post OP experience preferred
* Ophthalmology experience preferred; Retina and Glaucoma experience is a plus
* Mobility for walking, sitting, standing, bending and stretching
