Responsibilities * Experience working with Terraform as it relates to the automation of Amazon Web Services (AWS), and MS Azure cloud deployments.
* Work with technology teams to prototype and prove the viability of solutions.
* Participate in daily operations and maintenance tasks to include patching, troubleshooting, and configuration management.
* Lead the design and implementation of scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS.
* Architect and implement solutions using AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, and others.
* Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation etc.
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing using tools like AWS CodePipeline or Jenkins.
* Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
* Optimize AWS resources to minimize costs while maximizing performance and scalability.
* Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical skills.
* Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operations.
* Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS. Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications on EKS. Required Experience/Qualifications * BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, MS degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 10+ years of overall IT experience
* Experience with successful deployment on at least one major IaaS and/or PaaS service platform (OpenStack, AWS, Heroku, etc.)
* Experience with migration of enterprise database systems such as Oracle, Sybase to IaaS and/or PaaS service platform.
* Proven experience with DevOps practices and technologies in a software-defined infrastructure environment, delivering Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Experience in architecting build and configuration management processes and procedures within both a Hybrid Cloud and Cloud deployment.
* Experience architecting solutions for large programs around cloud architecture to include Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-Service (SaaS) solutions.
* Extensive understanding of and experience with Data Center/Midrange Hosting management products and services Preferred Experience/Qualifications * AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate/Professional preferred
* Preferred a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services
* Nice to have hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform Special Requirements/Security Clearance * Ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust
