Primary Responsibilities:
  • Verifies correct tooling, plates, ink and material are available and in good condition.
  • Reads and follows work order and tech cards to set up press.
  • Updates computer for data collection purposes to track run time and downtime.
  • Sets up press and provides samples to QA.
  • Communicates with Inspector to produce sufficient good labels to fulfill order.
  • Operates press and monitors ink levels, registration and quality. Splices rolls.
  • Troubleshoots and corrects production problems and updates tech cards.
  • Maintains cleanliness of press and equipment. Reports mechanical/safety issues.
  • Follows GMPs and safe operating procedures.
  • Coordinates press changeovers and may assist in training as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
