Optum is seeking a health care professional to serve as a critical team member for the execution of pharmaceutical industry focused Payer Marketing consulting services. The related services represent an expansion of offerings from the Pharmacy Advisory Services (PAS) team, which sits in the broader Optum Advisory Services (OAS) organization. Current PAS offerings include a variety of actuarial- and payer-focused education, modeling, and strategy services. The Senior Consultant will work together with the Senior Director responsible for this expansion, as well as other PAS and OAS subject matter experts and consultants, upon market-readiness of the expanded offerings, the Senior Consultant will be the operational lead for all projects and, with other team members, will be expected to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction. The role includes what will be significant interaction with our clients, external experts, and other colleagues across our corporate matrix.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the development of expanded Payer Marketing Services
- Support sales and contracting operations for the Payer Marketing Services
- Efficiently and effectively lead operational project delivery
- Proactively develop technical and professional behavioral skills
- Experience using publicly available information to support topic-specific inquires
- Manage along with coordinate, facilitate individual & or group interactions in virtual and in-person
- Contribute to trusted relationships with clients
- Achieve the highest level of client satisfaction
- Achieve solid team and matrix relationships

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working directly with OR for one or more pharmaceutical companies
- 3+ years of experience in Payer Marketing and Market Access
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects with multiple project stakeholders
- Including yet not limited to Decision Makers, C Suite Leadership and Thought Leadership Experts
- Willing to travel at least 10% of the time (on average)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Payer Marketing and or Market Access Marketing
- Experience in Pharma/Biotechnology Life Science
- Experience in Marketing General
- Experience working in or with Agencies of Record
- Experience in Market Research, Product Lifecycle, Launch Readiness as well as Field Force Engagement

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
