The use of CAD modeling software improves product quality and increases time-to-market by automating the product development process. This includes the initial concept design and styling, 2D CAD and 3D CAD design, simulation and analysis, and engineering calculations.PTC is looking for motivated sales professionals to drive strategic CAD sales. PTC has the best CAD solutions on the planet and customers are looking for ways to drive increased value from their solutions, which is why we need talented folks that have a strong desire to build relationships, identify customer challenges, and position PTC CAD solutions to help customers achieve their business goals.The right person for this role has a high level of curiosity, intellectual capability, strong emotional intelligence, strategic thinking skills, deal making mathematical capabilities, highly ambitious, and are motivated to winPTC's CAD software enables companies to:Create, analyze and validate the complete product definition across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.Design and optimize products with distributed engineering teams in multi-CAD environments.Eliminate errors and rework when product development data is re-used downstreamReduce development costs.Identify and eliminate errors earlier in the design cycle.Increase design collaboration across disciplines and with extended team members.Eliminate redundant systems and consolidate tools.Optimize product designs for cost efficiencies and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:To achieve assigned quota by selling PTC's CAD software solutions to companies within targeted industry vertical and named customer listDevelop revenue forecast in coordination with Regional Director and the CAD segment's Go-To-Market Vice PresidentProspect and develop new accounts while maintaining sales within existing accountsInvestigate and understand the internal business processes of clients and strategize, present and demonstrate a tailored technology solutionBuild relationships with key executives (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO) and departmental managersCoordination of sales and technical sales resources during the sales processDrive Complex CAD Software Sales: Identify, prospect, and engage enterprise-level clients, showcasing your ability to comprehend complex software needs and present compelling solutions that meet engineering and design requirements.Act as a Sales Engineer: Use your technical product knowledge to translate complicated CAD features into easy-to-understand product pitches, negotiations, and demonstrationsBuild and Nurture Relationships: Develop trusted partnerships with high-level decision-makers, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to close large-scale deals that can transform entire organizations.Manage the Full Sales Cycle: Handle everything from lead qualification through demos, RFP responses, negotiations, and final contract signing, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.Collaborate Across Teams: Work with channel partners, product engineers, and marketing staff to design strategies that maximize market reach and deal value, leveraging all routes to marketAchieve Revenue Targets: Use data-driven forecasting and pipeline management to meet or exceed ambitious sales quotas, turning your aptitude for relationship-building and problem-solving into tangible resultsQualifications:Experience: 5+ years in enterprise software sales, preferably in CAD or a related engineering software environment, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotasTechnical Proficiency: Prior experience or education in disciplines such as mechanical engineering, architecture, or computer science preferred. PTC anticipates the Enterprise CAD Solutions Seller to start at a minimum annual salary of $80,000.00. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or payment of any relocation expenses that might be incurred. Also, every PTC employee also can become a PTC shareholder, both through its stock grant programs or its employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase PTC stock at a discount.
