Apply todayJob Summary And QualificationsThe Director of Finance is responsible for designing and developing analyses to solve complex operational and financial problems. The Director assists the Parallon Executive team and Directors through development and maintenance of reporting solutions to optimize revenue cycle operations. The Director works closely with leadership to research and provide insight into operational and financial performance. The Director ensures the integration of Parallon Revenue Cycle system dictionaries and master file adherence to operational and financial standards. The Director is responsible for the day to day management of the Expanse Financial Operations Analysts.What you will do in this role:Support Expanse implementation by providing data analyses and financial impact assessments via proactive review and ad hoc requests.Complete gross revenue reviews post Expanse go-live to understand, analyze, and communicate any issues and/or trends identified. Collaborate with the respective Expanse and Parallon teams to resolve issues.Support facility and division finance leadership during the initial month-end close after Expanse go-live to evaluate and assess any implementation impact to net revenue and other key financial metrics.Assist in and oversee development of streamlined processes to improve Expanse-related departmental performance.Oversee and manage revenue neutrality work relative to Expanse and Enterprise Standard Chargemaster (ESC) implementation.Works collaboratively with HCA Expanse partners to define, develop, and implement improvements that will enhance current processes. Partner with stakeholders contributing to revenue neutrality work.Works closely with operations departments in the development of key metrics to assess departmental performance.Assist in translating business reporting requirements to development staff.Supports exception based report generation for applicable departments.Assist leadership in managing information effectively to improve departmental efficiency and performance.Understand Revenue Cycle and Hospital/Facility operations and technologies currently in place.Participates in and supports change control processes and Expanse testing efforts including, but not limited to, linkage analysis, Make or Break testing, and Financial End to End testing.What qualifications you will need:Bachelor's degree with focus in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other Business-related field required. Advanced degree such as MBA preferred.Minimum 5 years' experience in related area (with two of these years being healthcare management experience) or current participant in the Parallon Director Trainee Program. Hospital Accounting/Finance experience strongly preferred.Parallon provides full-service revenue cycle management, or total patient account resolution, for HCA Healthcare.
