Responsibilities:
Patient Rooming: Escort patients to examination rooms, prepare them for consultations, and ensure they are comfortable and ready for their appointments.
Taking Vitals: Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate, maintaining meticulous records.
Point of Care (POC) Testing: Perform on-site diagnostic tests such as blood glucose monitoring, urine tests, and other relevant procedures, ensuring timely and accurate results.
Charting in Epic: Input and update patient information in electronic medical records using the Epic system, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Scope/Instrument Processing: Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health standards.
Qualifications:
Certified/Registered Medical Assistant required
Certification up to date required
Urgent Care experience preferred.
Medical assistant experience preferred
Additional Information:
Location: Seattle, Washington
Job Type: Contract -to-hire.
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
Pay Range: $18 to 25.00/hour.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
