Description

Position Summary: This position provides solution-oriented consultative training, technical support and troubleshooting at customer sites, and remotely, on bioMerieux‘s diagnostic product lines. Effectively work with customers to achieve efficient implementation and go live of new instrumentation. Retain business, collaborate with stakeholders. This is a field based position supporting the Southern California territory. The ideal candidate will reside or be willing to relocate to South Los Angeles or San Diego. Extensive field travel is required - average 20-25% overnight stays. Primary Duties:
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMerieux‘s Quality System.
  • Coordinate and provide technical training, consultation, and ongoing support of bioMerieux‘s diagnostic product lines within the U.S. customer base.
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong professional relationships with all customers.
  • Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensure regulatory compliance through timely and accurate documentation in bioMerieux‘s CRM system; consulting as appropriate with Sales Partners, Application Specialists, Field/System Engineers, IT Resources, Management teams, and Local/Global Support Teams.
  • Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for efficient territory management within operating expense budget.
  • Support bioMerieux revenue initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, and/or as business needs dictate.
Education, Skills, & Experience:
  • Bachelor‘s degree in medical technology, technical, or life science field
  • 1+ years clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
    • bioMerieux product experience preferred.
    • ASCP or MLT certifications preferred
    • Molecular experience is preferred but not required
    • Laboratory Information System, or Connectivity/Networking experience a plus.
  • Experience with guidelines with CLIA regulations and/or additional laboratory credentialing agencies preferred.
  • Experience with related technical field applications support strongly preferred.
The estimated salary range for this role based in the Southern California area is between $81,000 and $105,000 annually. This role is eligible to receive an annual bonus based on individual performance per bioMerieux‘s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate‘s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
