Project Manager / Sales Metal Processing IndustryWe are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager / Sales professional to join a leading organization in the metal processing industry. This is a dynamic role that combines project coordination, customer service, and inside sales, supporting custom fabrication projects from initial quote through delivery.About the RoleThe Project Manager / Sales Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing all aspects of the quoting and order process. You'll interpret fabrication drawings, prepare accurate quotes using in-house software, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings for parts and assembliesPrepare customer quotes by calculating material, labor, and freight costsManage incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time completionCommunicate effectively with internal departments to track project progressBuild and maintain relationships with customers to support ongoing businessNegotiate pricing and resolve order-related issues when neededPrioritize multiple customer demands while maintaining a high level of serviceQualificationsRequired:Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or fabrication drawingsProficiency with CAD-related programs (for navigation, not design)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordPositive, solutions-oriented mindset with a drive to succeedMust be a U.S. CitizenPreferred:Prior experience in metal, fabrication, plastics, wood, or equipment industriesBackground in sales, estimating, or project managementBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related fieldWhy This Opportunity?This is a chance to join a stable, long-standing industry leader that has continued to grow through innovation, customer service, and quality.
