QUALITY ENGINEER

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Lead Quality Engineer

Compensation: $65 - $80K

Responsibilities & Requirements of the QUALITY ENGINEER:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience considered in lieu of education
  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards and auditing experience highly preferred
  • Ownership of quality documentation including specifications, inspections, testing, and customer details
  • Work with customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met on both incoming and outgoing product
  • Evaluate quality issues, develop corrective actions, and manage customer notifications
  • Track non-conformances
  • Participate in daily quality engineering and troubleshooting
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to overcome quality issues and improve production processes to ensure high quality standards
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet U.S. Person status
