Job Description:

IT Corporate Solutions is looking to bolster their application development and support team with new application developers who will be responsible for the development and maintenance/support of the HR (Human Resources) Workforce Hub (WFHUB). The technologies used by our team include Informatica, SQL Server, Kafka, among others. Analyst will work with HR Product Owner and WFHUB IT Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements and assist with our development and move to AWS. This position is for someone who is self-motivated, flexible with new projects and technologies, and eager to learn.


Responsibilities:

• This role will play a primary role with the development and move to AWS, along with assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance of our current WFHUB data.

• Can apply functional programming concepts in any language; quick to pick up new language or adopt a more recent version of an existing language.

• Programs in required programming languages such as Informatica, SQL Server, Kafka.

• Has understanding / experience with AWS (i.e. Aurora Database, Glue).

• Is able to design and build complex software solutions.

• Has experience turning complex ideas into user stories. From there, can turn user stories into workable solutions, providing estimates to complete the work, and breaking down complex work into smaller components.

• Troubleshoots issues and implements fixes for HR applications and can work effectively with less defined direction requiring greater judgement.



Experience:

. Work experience in addition to degree: 3-5 years as an IT Application Analyst or equivalent.

• 2-4 or more years coding/programming, troubleshooting, problem-solving, logical design, SQL coding, Business Requirements analysis, vendor management, root cause analysis

• Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communications skills to work effectively with business partners, peer IT resources, managed service providers and all levels of management


Skills:

· Informatica development, Kafka development, and hands on technical experience with AWS, SQL Server


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
