Top rated, multi-office medical practice is looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager to provide supervisory oversight over all facets of the billing & collections department including claims processing, accounts receivable and revenue management.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of revenue management from claims review and submission through payment posting, resolution of denied/rejected claims, collections, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of practice management software and clearinghouse vendors
- Oversight and performance review of all operations and billing staff.
- Monitoring of monthly aging reports and unpaid claims
- Conducting regular audits of billing to identify coding and billing errors.
- Training billing staff and development of quality improvement metrics for increased performance and revenue cycle management.
Requirements:
- 5 + years’ experience supervising a staff of at least 15 in a physicians’ office setting.
- Working with insurance payers, HMO, PPO, Medicare/Medicaid, and other insurance carriers.
- Proficiency in the use/implementation of practice management and EHR software systems (E-Clinical works preferred) as well MS Office applications.
