Associate Scientist - Immuno-oncology, Discovery
92Bio, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and creative Scientist to join our Discovery group in Hayward, CA. As a member of the Discovery team, the successful candidate will leverage their advanced Immuno-Oncology skills to contribute to biologics discovery efforts and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to further advance these innovative programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize experiments for assessing Immuno-Oncology biologic drug candidates.
- Utilize flow cytometry, western blot, and other immunological functional methods to characterize biologic reagents.
- Coordinate experiments with other project partners and address any issues in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve process performance.
- Draft technical reports and documents, communicate data effectively with other partners.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team, taking accountability for technical performance and driving results.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in cancer biology, immunology, biological sciences, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience for BS or 1+ years of experience for MS.
- Firm understanding of immunological technologies, including familiarity with flow cytometry and functional immunological assays.
- Prior experience supporting immuno-oncology drug candidate characterizations is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (both technical and verbal).
- Proficiency with basic data analysis and presentation tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Graphpad Prism, and Flowjo).
- Excellent record keeping and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
