Job Overview

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be the face of our brand and our manufacturer partners. Your role is to establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with customers in your assigned territory, driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll leverage our test kitchens, digital content, and manufacturer resources to showcase our products and build trust with prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads. Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Communicate with current and potential customers to understand their needs and suggest suitable products and services.
  • Product Demonstrations: Use our test kitchens and equipment, such as pizza ovens and espresso makers, to demonstrate product functionality and benefits.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure ongoing communication and relationship management to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Resolve any post-sale issues.
  • Sales Communication: Keep existing and previous customers informed about new products, services, and enhancements.
  • CRM Management: Utilize CRM to maintain detailed accounts of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, quotes, projects, and customer or vendor relationship issues.
  • Sales Forecasting: Review forecasts to ensure sales by factory and by customer are on track to meet or exceed projections. Adjust strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the commercial kitchen or foodservice industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems and other sales tools and strong proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • Creativity: Innovative approach to scheduling experiential marketing, events, training, and sales meetings.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers and attend events.
