Pay Range: $24 - $26.67/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- The therapist will provide individual and group, therapy to adults depending on program support population using evidence-based practices in addiction-substance use disorders, mental health diagnosis and other areas as required by program.
- Perform initial assessment, treatment plans, individual and group counseling, coordinate with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and resources based on client needs.
- Conduct intake assessments including recommendations for treatment
- Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
- Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals.
- Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed.
- Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field is preferred.
- Transcripts will be required to be submitted to client for verification
- Two years' experience providing direct therapy in the area of mental health, substance use.
- Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs.
