Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Winding Creek Animal Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional client service while managing front desk operations efficiently. This role involves greeting clients, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth patient flow.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and provide a positive first impression of the hospital.
- Respond to client inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, providing accurate information about services and procedures.
- Schedule appointments and manage appointment calendars effectively.
- Process incoming and outgoing patients, including handling payments and insurance claims.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the client waiting area and front desk area.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email correspondence.
- Document and maintain client records and service data using practice management software.
- Escalate complex client concerns or medical issues to senior staff promptly.
- Collaborate with veterinary team members to ensure excellent patient care and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a veterinary clinic or similar setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including practice management software (experience with Avimark is a plus).
