Job SummaryWe seek an experienced Medical Assistant Team Lead to support our clinical team. This role involves providing day-to-day supervision, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities- Supervise and direct Medical Assistants on daily duties as necessary
- Assist with disciplinary actions, including performance management under the supervision of the Clinic Director
- Order, inventory, and maintain sufficient levels of vaccines
- Develop and deliver training sessions for Medical Assistants
- Collaborate with the Clinic Director on staffing, workflow, and performance evaluations
- Print hospital and lab reports as needed
- Direct and supervise MA visits and assign cleaning protocols for workstations
- Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school
- Valid Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program
- California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification required
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a lead role
