You will need to unload the merchandise using hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.You will work from Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm (or until the daily route is completed).Imperial Dade is the leading independently owned and operated distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America. Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves as a mission-critical partner to more than 120,000 customers through our footprint of 130+ branches.**All correspondence will come directly from Imperial Dade and not a personal email address**ResponsibilitiesYou will:Safely operate a 24' box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVWLoad and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gateProperly track and document activity logReport any issues or incidents to dispatchInspect the truck before and after tripCommunicate with customers with an outgoing attitudeQualificationsYou have:A good driving record1 year of route delivery experience1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experienceLift gate experienceAbility to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassistedMust be able to pass a DOT medical exam and Non DOT drug exam.We offer a dynamic environment for our more than 7,500 employees to work, learn, and grow professionally.
