Position Overview:

You will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical systems for a wide range of projects. Your expertise in electrical engineering, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and professional licensure (EIT/PE preferred) will be instrumental in delivering high-quality MEP engineering solutions to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical System Design: Collaborate with project teams to develop electrical designs that meet project requirements, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
  2. Revit and AutoCAD Proficiency: Utilize Revit and AutoCAD software to create accurate and detailed electrical drawings and models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Technical Analysis: Conduct electrical load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and lighting calculations to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
  4. Code Compliance: Stay up-to-date with electrical codes and standards, ensuring all designs are in compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Project Coordination: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and plumbing engineers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
  6. Client Communication: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and address any concerns or questions related to electrical design.
  7. Quality Assurance: Perform thorough reviews of electrical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional licensure as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software for electrical design.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
