This role requires strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building reliable services in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement the design of scalable, low-latency infrastructure to support institutional use of cryptocurrency. Work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and product managers to independently deliver features aligned with the product roadmap. Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets internal standards and customer needs. Drive architecture and system design discussions to ensure maintainability and scalability. Quickly ramp up on existing services and contribute effectively to new projects. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering. Proven expertise in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining low-latency production systems. Experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA). Familiarity with at least one major SQL or NoSQL database (e.g., Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB), with an interest in database optimization and maintenance. Ability to quickly learn and work with new engineering systems and technologies. Preferred Technical Skills: DynamoDB, MongoDB Backend and Frontend development experience Familiarity with Ruby, Salesforce, Google Suite Exposure to B2B software development Proficiency in SQL Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (required) Equivalent experience (5+ years in software engineering) will also be considered
