The candidate must have a High School Diploma and three or more years of water/wastewater heavy civil project experience. NASSCO PACP certification, Water Distribution Operator license, and 40 hour OSHA training is a plus. A valid driver's license is required. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.Typical responsibilities include:Act as the on-site liaison with client and communityMaintain excellent client relationsConduct field inspectionsCoordinate/communicate with contractors regarding construction project activityCoordinate with Engineer of Record as neededRecord inspection daily reportsMonitor construction operations, including compliance with permitsOrganize and maintain construction documentation with cloud-based document control interfaceDevelop a detailed understanding of plans and specificationsAssist Project Manager with the interpretation of contract requirementsReview shop drawings, where appropriateHelp address Field Changes, as appropriateLead or assist with Requests for Information responsesAssist Project Manager with the Engineer's response to any contract claimsIdentify and help mitigate potential project risks during constructionReview and understand construction CPM schedulesAttend project preconstruction, progress and coordination meetingsAttend seminars and/or training coursesMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:High School Diploma is requiredSkills/Experience:3 or more years of water/wastewater heavy civil project experience is requiredExperience with water distribution, wastewater collection, and transmission systems is requiredValid Driver's License requiredNASSCO PACP certification and Water Distribution Operator license in Georgia is a plusExperience with wastewater treatment facilities and related mechanical process equipment a plus40 Hour OSHA training a plusTrench and Safety Training a plusAbout Wade Trim:Wade Trim is committed to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments.
