Job Summary The Cap-X, MRO, HR and Marketing Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing procurement activities ensuring low total cost of ownership, high quality procurement of related goods and services needed to meet the needs of Benjamin Moore. The candidate will report to the Sr. Indirect Procurement Manager and will be responsible for commercial and service criteria and contracts, in alignment with corporate policies and procedures, which ensure competitive pricing and overall total cost of ownership, and which fully protect the company against missed deliveries, shortages and outages, poor material quality, and other performance issues that might adversely affect Benjamin Moore. The candidate will work closely with the Contract Manager to execute contracts and agreements. Responsibilities Partner with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to lead sourcing projects which deliver desired results, mitigate business risk and drive efficiencies. Develop and implement sourcing strategies, which include competitive intelligence, and which are aligned with business objectives. Ensure procurement activities are aligned with the needs and expectations of internal stakeholders. Negotiate with suppliers for execution of Supply Agreements that achieve lowest total system cost. Responsible for contractual commitments and supplier assessments. Develop supplier base and maintain strong supplier relationships. Communicate and mitigate market changes; develop and recommend alternative sourcing options. Perform data analysis for sourcing projects. Analyze, develop and deliver timely cost information. Work closely with key stakeholders and the procurement contract manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering Master's Degree preferred Minimum of 7 years' experience in Procurement Prior people management experience preferred Experience in use of ERP system (SAP, ARIBA and Ironclad preferred) C.P.M. and/or CPSM certification Strong understanding of purchasing concepts, practices, and procedures.
