Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical 11 West

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, Weekdays and Some Weekends
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
  • BCLS and IV certifications 
  • Prior experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience is desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Job Title: Night Shift Registered Nurse (11W DOAN)Schedule: Weekdays and Some Weekends, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:30)Shift Type: Night ShiftResponsibilities:• Perform IV starts and manage IV lines proficiently.• Administer medications safely and accurately.• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatment.• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and self-care techniques.• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC EMR system.• Maintain BCLS and IV certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float to lower acuity units as needed.• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.• Active RN license in the state of Ohio• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.• BCLS and IV certifications are mandatory.• Proficiency in IV management, medication administration, and patient education.• Prior experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.• Previous travel nursing experience is desirable.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
