Life-Changing Medical Transport Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Life-Changing Medical Transport Specialist to join our team at Ambulnz by DocGo. As a key member of our emergency medical services team, you will play a vital role in providing top-tier patient care and transportation.
About the RoleIn this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to make a real difference in people's lives while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibility will be to transport patients safely and efficiently to medical facilities while ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey.
As a Life-Changing Medical Transport Specialist, you will work closely with fellow EMTs, paramedics, and management to provide seamless patient care. You will be expected to maintain a high level of flexibility, as your work schedule may vary due to the 24-hour nature of our business.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Adhere to established standards of care, including equipment functions and protocols.
- Conduct yourself professionally and courteously when interacting with patients, coworkers, and the public.
- Recognize and respond to medical emergencies with confidence and expertise.
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients during transportation.
- Valid New York State Emergency Medical Technician certification
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification or equivalent
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads (125 lbs+)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and overtime
