Automotive Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist Role Description: Mirak Automotive Group is family owned and operated business in Arlington, MA founded in 1936. As an AP/AR Specialist at Mirak Automotive Group, you will play a vital role in our dynamic accounting team. Customer service is not just a department at Mirak; however, it is the very foundation of our company culture Responsibilities: Handle accounting tasks related to automotive operations In accordance with GAAP, manage financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist in month end and year end closing processes Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and provide insights Key Functions: Account and schedule reconciliations Daily bank deposits and cash clearing Process payables and vendor reconciliations Assist with factory payable and receivable invoices and statements Monitor client receivables, record payments, and pursue overdue balances Other duties as assigned Requirements: Prior experience in automotive industry is strongly preferred Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or related field preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in software including MS Excel, DMS (Dealertrack), etc. is preferred Attention to detail and exceptional time management and analytical skills Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Benefits: Hands on training and career growth within Mirak Automotive Group Comprehensive benefits packages include health, dental, vision, life, etc. Fidelity 401k and company match Family-owned business environment with a company culture structured to value each employee and their career development Industry leading compensation package Mirak Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
