Job Title: EEG Technician Job Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Valid State License Required; DC or Compact License for MD Locations Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Adult Inpatient - Adult Outpatient - ER Experience - Adult ICU Experience Job Description: - Perform EEG procedures on adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. - Handle occasional weekend on-call duties as required by the schedule. - Participate in a 28-hour orientation process and complete necessary modules, with an average of 12 hours needed. - Administer and process EEG tests in a timely and professional manner. - Adhere to required safety and health protocols, including flu vaccinations. - Provide patient care with a focus on safety and accuracy in diagnostics. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Document and report findings accurately and efficiently. - Remain adaptable to varying job demands and schedules. - Ensure compliance with local and state medical regulations. Additional Requirements: - References from two supervisors. - Perform job duties in compliance with established standards and procedures. - Be prepared to partake in a thorough review process with potential no interview required. - Complete all required pre-start modules before commencing work.
