Supply Chain Finance Lead


Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Lead to join their Akron, OH team. Hybrid work environment.


The position will support the supply chain operations teams, including warehousing, procurement, inventory management, and freight in analyzing operational results and identifying areas of opportunity. This role will perform analytics surrounding inventory trends, cost variances, and revenue, making recommendations based on results. The ideal candidate must have supply chain finance experience. PowerBI proficiency is highly preferred.


Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Finance Lead will be responsible for:

  • Performing financial and cost controls oversight
  • Providing business opportunities and projects recommendations to senior leadership
  • Overseeing reserves, accruals, and other aspects of month end financial close
  • Assessing savings calculation methodologies
  • Reviewing and documenting rebates, discounts, and other aspects of accounting treatment
  • Overseeing physical inventory programs planning, coordination, and monitoring
  • Supporting forecasts and budgets development
  • Gathering and analyzing data and developing reports


Skills/Competencies:

The ideal Supply Chain Finance Lead will possess these skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years supply chain finance experience, ideally within manufacturing
  • PowerBI highly preferred
  • Advanced SAP proficiency
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills

Total compensation: To $115k
