Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.Key highlights of the program include:Mentorship program to support learning and development.Weekly speaker series to promote a deep understanding of the firm, our culture and share personal perspectives from employees.Intensive training on our business model and how employees of the firm contribute to achieving our goals.Frequent connectivity with other Summer Analysts and our program team.Round table discussions on current events with macro and micro relevance to our business.Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm.Eligibility and Selection CriteriaTo be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2027 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.PositionRockefeller Capital Management's Charlotte Office within the Rockefeller Global Family Office is looking for a Summer Analyst to support the team. The Summer Analyst will support the Divisional Director for this location and their team in serving as points of contact for Financial Advisor teams joining the Rockefeller Capital Management platform. This individual will liaise with various departments, including Compliance, Operations, Technology, Products and Marketing. The ideal candidate is one that is thorough in their work, operates with a high attention to detail, has strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills, and is driven to develop and grow in their role.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Divisional Director in projects and initiatives they are involved in within the business and across the organizationAssist the team in the day-to-day as it relates to the on-boarding and continued support of Financial Advisors and their client accountsAssist with ad-hoc projects relating to transition of Advisor's book, client engagement and marketingSupport the Divisional Director and the team on various Financial Advisor recruiting effortsDevelop and contribute to best practices for the BusinessQualificationsHigh school degree requiredPursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Operations, Economics, or Business is desirablePrior internship experience in wealth management experience a plusSkillsBasic understanding of investments and/or portfolio reporting and related terminologyHighly proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel; ability to use Excel to organize, analyze, present and report on client information; Word, Access and PowerPoint a plusAbility to work well independently and as a part of a teamAbility to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations ariseDetail-oriented and attention to accuracy and meeting deadlinesExcellent inter-personal skillsAbility to exercise discretion with confidential mattersStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to express ideas clearly and conciselyCompensation RangeThe anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35/hour. Salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of this rate.
