Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist • Discipline: Allied Health Professional • Start Date: • Duration: 13 weeks • 40 hours per week • Shift: 8 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Title: Ultrasound Tech – RDMS Registered Location: Elmhurst, NY Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM; alternating weekends and holidays required Job Responsibilities: • Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an acute care setting. • Acquire and document high-quality sonographic images following departmental protocols. • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate and timely diagnoses. • Maintain, clean, and operate ultrasound equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. • Enter patient information, exam details, and findings into the EPIC charting system. • Provide compassionate, professional care to patients during overnight hours. Required Skills & Experience: • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including military-equivalent programs). • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification through ARDMS (required). • BLS certification (preferred). • Minimum 1 year of general ultrasound experience in an acute care environment. • EPIC experience preferred (training provided). Required Certifications & Licensure: • RDMS certification (ARDMS) — required. • BLS certification.
