The Opportunity Join the RLAL Investment Control Team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality unit pricing and investment processes. You'll manage business-as-usual activities with precision and timeliness while also driving regulatory and enterprise-wide initiatives. Your focus will be on meeting OKRs and KPIs, prioritizing tasks, and continuously improving efficiency and customer experience. As a key member of the Resolution Life Investment Control SMT, you'll handle backlog management, track team achievements, and align stakeholder expectations. You'll set goals, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with teams and stakeholders to ensure quality outputs. Your role includes reviewing and validating unit prices, understanding tax and fees impacts, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You'll also be responsible for reporting and analysis, implementing controls and processes, and managing relationships with custodians and IT support teams. Your leadership will ensure adherence to standards, risk management, and strong incident management processes. Join us to lead with enthusiasm and drive our vision forward. Youll have the freedom to work remotely, with occasional office attendance required on an ad hoc basis ensuring a harmonious balance between business needs and personal flexibility. To thrive in this environment ideally a candidate has the following attributes: Track and ensure team achievement against OKRs and KPIs Align stakeholders and manage expectations Prioritize requirements (tasks) in teams backlog when there are multiple competing priorities Primary point-of-contact / team representative Review and validation of RLAL AU & NZ Life unit prices provided by our custodian BNP and Citi and cashflows on a daily basis including unit pricing standing data reviews i.e. fees, spreads, and indices. Calculation and validation of daily unit prices within our internal in-house unit pricing system (UPS). Understanding of tax, fees, spreads, and other standing data that could potentially impact unit prices Reporting and analysis for other departments within RLAL on a timely basis Implementing and improving controls and processes. Liaising with custodians BNP/Citi and Investment Managers and building a strong working relationship Manage the relationship with ITRLAL Production Support teams to ensure appropriate IT support to Unit Pricing systems Key competencies Strong in-depth knowledge of the portfolio valuation and unit pricing process Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills Applying unit pricing theory to operational and business processes Ability to work to tight deadlines and ensure daily, monthly, and quarterly deliverables are met Understand and act accordingly in response to the critical nature and risk associated with unit pricing Excellent communication skills including an ability to build relationships within the organisation and externally Enthusiastic and self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously and use initiative to follow issues through to resolution Critical Skills Customer Focused: Passionate drive to delight our customers and offer unique solutions that deliver on their expectations.
