Barrington James Recruitment has partnered with a full service, life science consulting company, who work with a number of leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the country.


We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join the Facilities and Engineering Department for a well-known pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in managing tasks related to Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and investigations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage CAPA and investigation tasks within the facilities and engineering department. Ensure projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and Manufacturing to drive project completion and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any issues or delays encountered. Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in facilities and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of CAPA processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • PMP certification (nice to have).
  • Experience with facilities and engineering (nice to have).
