0992 - Electrician - General Foreman Night ShiftManage and supervise the planning, lay-out, installation, testing, and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, motors, equipment, and control systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Plan and coordinate the efforts of the foremen and crewmen under their supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly, and efficiently.Key responsibilities include performing all principal duties and accountabilities of workers under their supervision, leading and supporting all safety-related processes and programs, engaging with the work team to ensure zero injuries, proficient in scheduling, material control, unit man-hour performance, estimating fundamentals, and job cost management in the Field Process Management System (FPMS), creating and executing a four-week schedule and monitoring the foreman's one-week schedule, monitoring/planning crew goals and proactively making changes necessary to keep crews on track with goals, reviewing and approving crew's timecards for correct hours and phase coding, participating in incident investigations and reporting accidents and acting to prevent future occurrences to project management and site safety, understanding and responding appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices, using effective verbal and written communication skills, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions rapidly and accurately, listening to other employees and supervisor's suggestions, complaints, problems, safety concerns, and recommendations, evaluating each and then devising and implementing a plan of action based on that evaluation, coordinating and communicating work with other crafts and co-workers on the job, assuring foreman are providing on-the-job training to craft workers, training/teaching safety practices, policies, and procedures related to an employee's assigned tasks and ensuring that foremen do the same, assuring foreman perform task planning to safely and efficiently carry out all aspects of the work assigned, planning and communicating with supervisor to assure that an adequate supply of tools, materials, and equipment are available, understanding and periodically reviewing project master schedule, preparing and monitoring the progress of the work accomplished relative to the Short Interval Schedule, gaining a complete understanding of the scope of work and the related parts of the project, developing a thorough understanding of the project plans, specifications, and schedule as they relate to that portion of the work assigned, reviewing with foremen at start of and throughout the task, delegating and communicating safety concerns, work scope, plans, budgeted man-hours, and schedules to the foremen, monitoring productivity rates and reviewing with foremen, preparing daily reports completely and accurately, assuring employees produce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications, and industry standards, ensuring all Quality Control forms are available and being completed in a timely manner, reviewing, approving, and submitting to supervisor, inspecting subordinate's work for compliance with the contract plans, specifications, and industry standards, ensuring that correct construction procedures are followed during installation, pointing out deficiencies, explaining them, and taking corrective action needed, ensuring that construction equipment is correctly operated, maintained, in good working order, and Daily Equipment Inspections are completed for equipment being utilized, completing performance reviews for subordinates according to Craft Performance Assessment (CPA) Guidelines and assuring foreman is completing reviews of craft workers, ensuring that subordinates are qualified to perform their work as it relates to their level.Preferred qualifications include one or more of the following certifications: State Electrical License, NCCER Electrical, NCCER Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, NCCER Pipeline Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, NCCER Project Supervision.Minimum qualifications include at least six years of experience working in an electrician role or higher and supervisor experience. Must have a strong working knowledge of the electrical craft and the National Electrical Code (NEC). Should have all necessary licenses for the jurisdiction in which the work is to be performed. Must set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality, and productivity for the members of their crew. Must be at least 18 years of age.
