Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced LIMS Deployment Specialist to join our team for a two-year project to automate data collection across global laboratories. This role involves extensive travel during the initial deployment phases and participation in the hypercare team post-deployment. The specialist will work closely with the IT lead, Project Manager, and steering committee to ensure the successful implementation of Labware systems.


Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the project manager for business process and test method harmonization across global laboratories.

• Develop and implement the system within budget and timelines to meet system owner expectations and project requirements.

• Utilize prior experience to deploy state-of-the-art LIMS, transitioning from paper data collection to seamless digital reporting solutions.

• Anticipate and escalate any issues that could compromise the implementation's timely, budgeted, or requirement-compliant delivery.

• Oversee Master Data review to ensure alignment with global final reports.

• Define user requirements to deliver operational and laboratory end-user needs and project requirements.


Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of laboratory operations and data collection in regulated environments.

• Experience deploying a LIMS, preferably Labware, within the last 5 years.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to escalate issues related to time, budget, or requirements.

• Expertise in process mapping and improvement.

• Proven experience in harmonizing and integrating multiple locations into a single software solution.

• Solutions-oriented mindset, capable of addressing and solving complex deployment challenges.


Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Labware is essential.

• Strong MS Office, SQL, Jira, Tableau, and Salesforce knowledge.


Cultural Fit:

• Detail-oriented, with strong documentation skills.

• Ability to bridge gaps between laboratory operations, science, and IT.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Team Composition:

• Active participation in the steering committee.

• Collaboration with SMEs, workstream owners, IT Lead, Project Manager, and approximately 10 other team members.


Project Details:

• The first deployment is scheduled to go live in Q1 2025.

• The initial phase will cover three locations, focusing on the microbiology business unit. It will deploy across three labs simultaneously with 150-200 users.
